At the Gandhi Memorial Intercontinental School (GMIS), we believe education is about more than just academics. We take a holistic approach to learning—supporting each child not only in their studies but also in building confidence, resilience, and a genuine love for learning. Our classrooms are designed to be engaging and inclusive, where children are encouraged to ask questions, think independently, and learn at a pace that works for them.
We offer four internationally recognised curricula—IB, Cambridge, the Indonesian National Curriculum, and the Board of Secondary Education Indian Schools Indonesia (BSEISI)—giving families the flexibility to choose the pathway that best suits their child’s future goals.
Outside the classroom, we offer over 21 extracurricular activities ranging from Badminton, Swimming, Football, Futsal, Cricket, Table Tennis, Volleyball, and Skating, to Dance, Engineering, Gardening, Debate, Basketball, and Taekwondo—so every child has the chance to discover what they are good at beyond their studies. With over 22 nationalities in our school community, students grow up learning alongside peers from all over the world—which we believe is an education in itself.
