The first ACS WASC accredited school in Surabaya, SIS has a strong reputation for excellence.
Students at SIS are exposed to a rigorous curriculum using U.S curriculum standards. We follow the IB PYP framework in the elementary school and American middle school and high school standards are the foundation of our secondary program. Our program culminates with the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) Capstone Diploma, and students have the opportunity to gain college credit through a selection of a variety of AP courses. These courses give students exposure to introductory-level university classes while they are still in high school and prepare them for post-secondary life abroad.
A curriculum is only as strong as its teachers. Our highly qualified and experienced teaching staff is where SIS outshines other schools in Surabaya. SIS hires the finest international teachers from around the world to work closely with the finest Indonesian staff.
