Global Jaya School

Emerald Boulevard Bintaro Jaya Sektor IX Tangerang 15224 Indonesia

Global Jaya School (GJS), an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School, is located in a beautiful and popular suburb of Jakarta called Bintaro. Our status as an IB World School reflects a rigorous self-evaluation and training process of which we are very proud. We are pleased to be authorized to offer three IB programs: Primary Years Program (PYP), Middle Years Program (MYP), and the IB Diploma Program (DP). In addition, we are accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and are a full member of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS).

Global Jaya School is a non-denominational community that encourages and teaches respect for others by valuing Indonesian culture while embracing international cultural awareness. Our school implements an international curriculum that fully supports mother tongue language development.

Our students are our strongest asset and are at the center of our community. GJS students are talented, principled and active in their school lives. We are committed to delivering a well-rounded academic and extracurricular program that prepares students to participate in the international community as valuable team members and leaders.

Communication with parents is of great importance to the teachers at GJS. Parents are regularly informed about their child’s progress through online reports and student portfolios, as well as e-communication via ManageBac, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube video streaming. Active parent participation is encouraged to support the learning experiences provided by our dedicated and professional teachers; we find much better outcomes result when parents are fully engaged in their child’s academic pursuits.
