British School Jakarta

The British School Jakarta (BSJ) is an independent institution located on a spacious 45-acre estate in Southwest Jakarta.

We welcome students aged 2 to 18 from diverse backgrounds. Our educational journey encompasses Kindergarten (ages 2 to 5), Primary School (ages 5 to 11), and Secondary School (ages 11 to 18). With experienced faculty, modern facilities, and a strong curriculum, BSJ offers a distinctive learning experience. Our curriculum includes:

• Kindergarten: Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework with elements of the Montessori approach
• Primary Years 1-6: a combination of the English National Curriculum and enquiry-based learning
• Secondary Years 7-13: International Baccalaureate Middle YearsProgramme (MYP), Career-Related Programme (CP), and DiplomaProgramme (DP).

BSJ is governed by a Council of Trustees and a Board of Governors representing parents’ interests.

Complete the online application form http://bsjakarta.openapply.com and submit supporting documents such as passports, stay permit for expat or Indonesia family registration for Indonesian national, report cards for the last 2 academic years, health card and pass the entrance assessment.

• Kindergarten: 2 to 5
• Primary: 5 to 11
• Secondary: 11 to 18

The average number of pupils/class:

• Kindergarten: 16 to 18
• Primary: 18 to 20
• Secondary: 15 to 24
