Opened in 1986, Bali Island School is renowned as the pioneer school in Bali to offer the PYP, MYP, and DP curriculums of International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes.
The school is fully licensed and authorised by the IB curriculum as well as CIS, WASC, and also the Indonesia Ministry of Education, embedding values from the IB learner profile which creates a positive and tolerant learning community.
Entry Requirements:
Admissions to the school require that applicants have reached a certain age, depending on their grade, by the 1st of September. Children must be a minimum of 3 years old and potty-trained to begin in Pre-School. There will be an admission test for all applicants to map their current academic sustainability before being admitted to BIS.
Given the nature of the curriculum, BIS is only able to admit students with an English language background to successfully access the courses of study.
