Bali International School opened in September 1986 and was renamed Bali Island School (BIS) in December 2014 in accordance with the Ministerial Decree on Education.
BIS is the preferred school for internationally-minded families and the only IB Continuum School in Bali. BIS is fully authorized by the International Baccalaureate to deliver the Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma Programmed from Preschool to Grade 12.

Entry Requirements:BIS admits students who will benefit from the education offered and who desire an international perspective. BIS is an inclusive school and serves students with mild to moderate learning needs. A child will be admitted if the school can offer a program that will those needs.
